North Olympic Land Trust’s StreamFest offers scenic views from its site, with meadows, forests, a clear stream and mountain views.
But this year’s StreamFest silent auction from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday also will feature scenery through paintings, photographs and other artwork
Local artwork seemed a good fit with StreamFest’s emphasis on protecting qualities that make the North Olympic Peninsula special, said Kevin Tracy, North Olympic Land Trust’s Development Committee chairperson and silent auction leader.
“Much of the silent auction artwork celebrates our exceptional natural environment,” Tracy said.
The auction also supports the donating artists, since they have the option of receiving half the proceeds from each artwork beyond a $50 minimum bid.
Some artists are also setting minimum purchase prices.
