Although summer didn’t officially start until Saturday, families were already enjoying the beaches at Fort Worden State Park on Friday afternoon.

Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high temperature near 65 degrees in Jefferson County. Highs could approach 70 degrees by the end of the week.
