PORT ANGELES — “Tell Me a Story, Play Me a Tune,” an afternoon of storytelling and music, will be held on stage at the Port Angeles Community Playhouse, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd., at 2 p.m. Sunday.
“Tell Me a Story” will present tandem storytelling, the blending of two voices with one story: the teller’s and the musician’s.
The event is hosted by Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County.
All donations will go toward supporting the free hospice service.
Featured tellers and musicians from the local storytelling community include Pat Ferris, James “the Obscure” Hodgson, Ingrid Nixon, Jan Yates, Carlos Xavier, Lisa Turecek and Rosie Sharpe.
Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

PORT ANGELES — The Olympic Outdoor Club will explore the tidelands of the Salt Creek Recreation Area and Crescent Bay on Sunday.

Pancake breakfast
SEQUIM — The Sequim Prairie Grange will hold a pancake breakfast at the Grange Hall, 290 Macleay Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
The menu consists of pancakes, eggs and ham.
The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and younger.
Some of the proceeds from the breakfast will benefit Precious Life Animal Sanctuary.
‘She’s Worth It’ concert
SEQUIM — A “She’s Worth It” benefit concert will be held at Sequim Community Church, 950 N. Fifth Ave., from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is free, though donations will be accepted to support efforts against human trafficking in Thailand and Cambodia.
The concert will feature jazz, doo-wop and classical music.

‘Les Mis’ auditions
SEQUIM — The Peninsula Family Theater will conduct auditions for the musical “Les Miserables” in the Sequim High School auditorium, 601 N. Sequim Ave., at 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
Performances will be July 17-19, 24-26 and 31, and Aug. 1-2.

SEQUIM — A $5 Sunday breakfast will be prepared and served at VFW Post 4760, 169 E. Washington St., from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday.

‘Tea with Thea’
CHIMACUM — Thea Foss No. 45 Daughters of Norway, will have a “Tea with Thea” to celebrate the lodge’s 10th anniversary at 1 p.m. Sunday.
The tea, which is open to the public, will be at the Tri-Area Community Center, 10 West Valley Road.
The event also honors the 200th anniversary of the signing of Norway’s Constitution, drawn up by representatives and signed at Eidsvoll near Oslo on May 17, 1814.
