TAHOLAH — A Taholah man was killed and another was injured Saturday in a one-car rollover wreck in Moclips.
Trevis P. Jones, 38, was found deceased on state Highway 109 at Milepost 31 after he lost control of a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup, according to a report by State Patrol Trooper Matt Rabe.
The pickup left the road on the right and rolled onto its top.
Gregory A. Hakala, 47, a passenger in the pickup, was injured and taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital.
Hakala was treated for his injuries and released, said a hospital representative.
Hakala was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck, and it was undetermined whether Jones was restrained, Rabe said.
Rabe said the wreck was caused by “driving under the influence” but did not specify what substance was suspected. No charges are pending.
