PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Superior Court Judge S. Brooke Taylor, 68, will seek re-election to a second four-year term, he said today.
Taylor is the third Superior Court judge to announce his intentions in the past few weeks.
Ken Williams, 65, who first won the position in 1992, is retiring, and George L. Wood, 62, also elected in 1992, is seeking re-election.
Forks District Court 2 Judge Eric Rohrer, 54, has announced that he will run for a Superior Court judge position but not which one.
Rohrer said in an earlier interview that he would not run against an incumbent.
County Hearing Examiner Chris Melly, 60, also has said he has not decided which position he will run for.
Superior Court judges earn $148,832 a year. The election is Nov. 6.
