PORT ANGELES — The Dam Bag, playing off the upcoming removal of the Elwha River dams, is now available at four Port Angeles businesses and online.
The navy-blue canvas bag is licensed by the National Park Service and designed and distributed by Port Angeles businesswomen Becky McGinty, Karen Rogers and Donna Knifsend. Rogers is a former mayor of Port Angeles.
It can be purchased now at Necessities and Temptations, 217 N. Laurel St., and Franni’s Gifts Expressions, 1215 E. Front St.
The bags, produced by Captain T’s of Port Angeles, are also available at Olympic Cellars Winery, 255410 U.S. Highway 101, and Barhop Taproom, 110 N. Laurel St.
The Dam Bag will also be sold at a street fair on Port Angeles City Pier on Saturday, Sept. 17, as part of Elwha dams removal celebration weekend.
It can be purchased online at www.thedambag.com for $15 plus $5.42 for shipping and handling.
