PORT ANGELES — The long process has begun for replacing the Eighth Street bridges over Valley and Tumwater creeks.
The estimated $15.6 million project could take two construction seasons.
City Public Works Director Glenn Cutler said Thursday the city has requested proposals from engineers for preliminary engineering and design work on the two spans.
Proposals are due in early April, Cutler said.
