PORT TOWNSEND – Plans for a new Key City Players theater look to triple the amount of seating of the current theater and relocate it from downtown on Washington Street to uptown at 1128 Lawrence St.
Community members got their first look at the preliminary plans for a new Key City Players theater over the weekend.
The theater troupe’s board bared preliminary plans drafted by Seattle architect Andrea Wickham to about 50 people on Saturday at the Port Townsend Community Center.
Board members also announced that the troupe would no longer be called Key City Players, but instead be known as Key City Public Theater.
