PORT ANGELES — Power was restored Saturday night after three trees falling on power lines late Saturday afternoon caused an electrical outage that put traffic lights out of commission on Eighth Street at its intersections with Cherry and Peabody streets.
Power was restored by 10 p.m. to about 100 customers in west Port Angeles, said James Burke, assistant deputy director of Public Works for Port Angeles.
The trees fell at about 5:15 p.m. in the 700 block of Valley Street.
