SEQUIM — Tickets are on sale for “An Evening with the Kingston Trio” at the James Center for the Performing Arts near Carrie Blake Park on Saturday, July 13.
The Kingston Trio will perform songs from its vast catalog, such as “Tom Dooley,” “MTA,” “Scotch and Soda” and many others.
Mark Pearson, a longtime member of The Brothers Four, will open the show.
Tickets are $55 (plus service charges) for Golden Circle VIP seating in the first five rows, $40 for reserved infield seating and $25 for general admission lawn seating, and are available at thekingstontrio.brownpapertickets.com.
They can be purchased at Purple Haze Lavender,127 W. Washington St., and Windermere Real Estate at 842 E. Washington St. in Sequim; and in Port Angeles at Coog’s Budget CDs, 111 W. Front St.
The concert is an official event of the Sequim Centennial Celebration and will be open to all ages.
There will be food vendors and a wine and beer garden for those 21 and older.
Gates will open at 4 p.m., with the concert running from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There will be parking on-site, accessible from Rhodefer Road.
Parking on-site will be first-come, first-served and will be attended to by the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.
