SEQUIM – Robin and Ryan Wickersham met at Dicky Bird’s Tavern in Blyn, and spent many sunny days on the nearby softball field.
After close to five years of marriage, their life together was still sweet.
Then, one late-summer Friday last year, while she was playing in a softball tournament in Forks, he was killed while four-wheeling on a friend’s property in Blyn. He was 31.
“Ryan and I had a really, really, really happy marriage. We saw so many people around us who didn’t, so we really appreciated it,” Wickersham said on Tuesday.
“We let each other know we loved each other, every day.”
