BLYN — The state Department of Transportation has restored traffic to the U.S. Highway 101 bridge over Chicken Coop Creek.
Traffic had been diverted over a temporary bypass since last winter to remove a culvert that was interfering with fish passage.
The major work at this site is complete, although travelers will still see some continued activities at the site just east of the Jamestown S’Klallam tribal campus in Blyn.
The department anticipates restoration of the bridge Discovery Creek, near west Sequim Bay, later this month, depending on the weather, according to a WSDOT press release.
Real-time traffic information is available at www.wsdot.com/traffic or by downloading the WSDOT app.
