Port Angeles Parks and Recreation Department employees Brooke Keohokaloke and Darryl Anderson prepare a red oak tree for planting Wednesday at Quinn Redlin Kinter Memorial Park near Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles. The small park, which had been devoid of trees, also is receiving a new maple and pin oak tree as part of a $2,000 tree purchase by the city that includes five trees for planting at Valley Creek Estuary Park on the Port Angeles waterfront.
