SHINE — Night work and closures scheduled Tuesday on the Hood Canal Bridge have been canceled due to a forecast of inclement weather.
The state Department of Transportation said in a press release Tuesday that work will resume when both weather and tides are favorable to continuing work on a project to replace mechanical systems that open and close the drawspan.
Future closures of the bridge on state Highway 104 will be announced as they are scheduled.
Drivers are encouraged to sign up to receive messages for the latest information about the project.
