PORT ANGELES – Motorists can expect an hour-long closure of state Highway 117 — known locally as Tumwater Truck Route — on Thursday for maintenance work.
The closure begins at 10 a.m. and the roadway is scheduled to reopen by 11 a.m. About 7,000 vehicles per day travel this road, which is the well-known truck route bypassing part of U.S. 101 along Lauridsen Boulevard and Lincoln Street in Port Angeles.
During the closure, motorists can reach their destination by following U.S. 101.
