PORT ANGELES — Two pre-Thanksgiving art classes are set for today (Wednesday) at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 W. Fourth St.
Children 8 and older — or younger if they come with an adult — are invited to make cornucopia sculptures and spiced nuts in the first class from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The cost is $15, or $12 for members of the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, whose ArtWorks program is sponsoring the classes.
Then come ceramic coasters and autumn cookies in the second session from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The fee is $10, or $7 for fine arts center members.
