A 14-month-old boy was left unharmed.

Toddler unhurt
Uninjured in the wreck was the 14-month-old boy, Jack Root, whom the State Patrol said was secured in the car.
The State Patrol said the wreck occurred at Milepost 258, between Dryke and Barr roads, at 5:44 p.m., when Berglund, driving a 1997 Nissan Maxima, rear-ended the 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Megan Root.
Nelson, Drolet, Boyer and baby Jack were in Root’s car.
The State Patrol said Root was stopped for traffic at the time and attributed the wreck to Berglund driving too fast.
The cars were heading westbound at the time.
Berglund was cited for speeding.
