AGNEW –– Traffic on U.S. Highway 101 was blocked for roughly 15 minutes in both directions Monday night after a two-car collision in the eastbound lane near the Sherbourne Road intersection west of Sequim.
The wreck crumpled the hood of a silver 2000 Buick sedan driven by Marilyn McNamara, 64, of Sequim.
McNamara’s car crashed into the rear end of a utility trailer being pulled behind a 1996 Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by Daniel Adams, 38, of Sequim.
Both drivers and a pregnant passenger in Adams’ pickup were inspected by medics from Clallam County Fire District No. 3, but no injuries were reported.
No citations had been issued as of Tuesday afternoon. Trooper Russ Winger of the State Patrol said troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
