PORT ANGELES — Robert Lee Kenney of Forks faces an Aug. 26 trial after he pleaded not guilty to charges of delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and possession of heroin.
Kenney, 44, is accused of selling meth to an Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team informant in Forks in January.
He was charged June 28 in Clallam County Superior Court and pleaded not guilty to the charges last Wednesday.
The additional charges filed against Kenney are the result of a Forks Police Department investigation, said Detective Sgt. Jason Viada, OPNET supervisor.
Kenney’s criminal history includes two felony explosives convictions and a heroin conviction, Viada said.
He is being held in the Clallam County jail without bail.
Cocaine charge
In another OPNET case, James Douglas Ohlson, 36, was charged June 19 with delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school bus stop.
Ohlson is serving time at the Washington Corrections Center in Shelton on unrelated charges.
OPNET officials developed probable cause that Ohlson sold cocaine near a business east of Port Angeles in November 2012, Viada said.
Ohlson’s criminal history includes several felony convictions, including malicious harassment, second-degree assault, theft, attempted burglary, stolen property trafficking and a controlled substance violation, Viada said.
