PORT ANGELES — A 33-year-old Port Angeles woman was sent to Olympic Medical Center after a two-vehicle wreck west of Port Angeles on Saturday.
A wreck was reported at 5:17 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 101 west of Reddick Road, according to Clallam County Fire District No. 2 Assistant Chief Dan Huff.
The woman was driving a 2005 Ford Focus east on Highway 101 when she rear-ended a 1997 Ford F-350 pickup driven by a 60-year-old man, Huff said in an email.
The Focus had significant front-end damage while the F-350 had only minor damage to its bumper.
The man was uninjured while the woman was sent to the hospital for evaluation.
The parties involved were not identified.
Westbound traffic was diverted through Reddick Road until the highway was cleared at about 6 p.m.
