PORT TOWNSEND — Two students will represent Port Townsend High School and Washington state at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Competition in Nashville, Tenn., from June 29 to July 3.
Senior Hana McAdam placed first in the business procedures event, and senior Trisha Reeves placed fifth in Microsoft Office Suite computer applications at the recent FBLA state competition in Seattle.
McAdam plans to attend Kent State University in Ohio in the fall, majoring in fashion design with a minor in business.
Reeves will attend Linfield College in Oregon, where she will participate in volleyball and track, and major in athletic training with a minor in sports management.
There are 150,000 FBLA members in the U.S., and approximately 8,000 students qualify to attend the national event.
