The April unemployment rates in Clallam and Jefferson counties significantly fell over those of the month before, the state Employment Security Department reported this morning.
Joblessness in Clallam was shown at 9.3 percent, down from 11.2 percent in March.
Jefferson County unemployment in April was 8.8 percent, down from 10.7 percent the month before.
The state’s unemployment rate also fell to 9.2 percent in April, down from 9.5 percent in March.
