PORT ANGELES — A Sequim woman and a Mossyrock man were jailed this afternoon on Lewis County warrants in connection with two residential burglaries and a vehicle prowl that occurred in Mossyrock between Friday and Sunday.
Police in Mossyrock considered the couple armed and dangerous, and focused on their reported whereabouts in the Sequim area before the pair was taken into custody and booked at the Port Angeles jail.
Anthony S. Depuisaye-Greene, 18, and a woman reported to be his girlfriend, Dezarai B. Johnson, 18, are accused of stealing six firearms, ammunition, money, a 1998 Toyota RAV4 and other items from a residence.
They are also accused of stealing about $3,000 worth of jewelry from a second Mossyrock residence as well as theft from a vehicle.
Mossyrock is located in south-central Lewis County, about 125 miles southeast of Sequim.
Mossyrock Police Officer Rebecca Sutherland told the Centralia Chronicle newspaper that a 17-year-old Mossyrock woman was arrested Sunday for her alleged connection to the crimes.
Police said they recovered the Toyota RAV4 Sunday night in Clallam County. One of the stolen firearms was located inside, Sutherland said.
