FORKS — All lanes of U.S. Highway 101 six miles south of Forks are now open after having been blocked earlier today by a power line on the road.
The state Department of Transportation said that the road had been cleared by 5 p.m.

FORKS — U.S. Highway 101 is fully blocked in both directions at the Jefferson-Clallam county line about six miles south of Forks.
Power lines are over the roadway, said Kelly Stowe, state Department of Transportation spokeswoman.
The highway was blocked at 1:52 p.m. today.
Both the State Patrol and Clallam County Public Utility District are on scene.
It is unknown when the highway will be cleared.
