Update: One killed in crash near Hood Canal Bridge

SHINE — At least one person has been killed in a collision involving a recreational vehicle west of the Hood Canal Bridge in Jefferson County.

Troopers said two people were trapped inside a Lexus at the crash scene at state Highway 104 and Teal Lake Road. They were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Highway 104 was blocked in both directions, but was expected to be reopened around 6 p.m. Traffic is backed up in both directions.
