PORT TOWNSEND — Repairs on the Steilacoom II, the 50-car ferry between Port Townsend and Keystone, are taking longer than anticipated. There will be no ferry service at least into Friday, the state Department of Transportation said today.
The department advises motorists to take the “long way” — the Edmonds/Kingston or Mukilteo/Clinton routes — to travel to Whidbey Island.
