Both lanes of State Highway 20 near Eaglemount Road were cleared by 6 p.m. after a 4:30 wreck had blocked the highway, the state Department of Transportation said.

Multiple vehicles were involved, according to Jefferson County Sheriff Tony Hernandez, who was not at the scene.
Lanes were blocked in both directions of the highway between U.S. Highway 101 and Port Townsend, with alternating traffic diverted through the westbound lane.
Hernandez said at about 5 p.m. that emergency personnel were working to extract a passengers from one of the vehicles.
