JOYCE — State Highway 112 has been reopened following a crash involving a log truck earlier this morning.
The collision was reported about 7:30 a.m. at Milepost 52, near the intersection of Dempsey Road east of Joyce.
The Washington State Patrol said the truck, driven by William Thomas Fogli, 67, of Quilcene, was eastbound on Highway 112 when the 1990 Peterbilt veered over the centerline and Fogli overcorrected and caused the semi to roll on its side, spilling the log load onto the road.
Fogli was taken to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles for treatment of abrasions, the patrol said.
The highway was blocked for an hour and 48 minutes, troopers reported.
