LIBRARY LEVY — The North Olympic Library System asked voters in Clallam County to restore its 2010 regular property tax levy rate from 33 cents to 50 cents per $1,000 of assessed property valuation for collection in 2011.

YES — 9,335, 58.19 percent
NO — 6,707, 41.8 percent
The two top vote-getters of any party emerge for the runoff in the Nov. 2 general election:
CLALLAM COUNTY PROSECUTOR:
Deb Kelly, R, incumbent — 7,852, 51.69 percent.
Larry Freedman. D — 4,306, 28.35 percent.
Lauren Erickson, D — 3,032, 19.96 percent.
CLALLAM COUNTY COMMISSIONER (District 3; only voters in the west end of Clallam County cast ballots):
Mike Doherty, D — 1,839, 49.82 percent
Bill Peach, R — 868, 23.52 percent.
Robin Poole, R — 984, 26.66 percent.
These are results based on votes counted as of today (Tuesday).
The second round begins on Friday, when the Clallam County Auditor’s office adds up the ballots received after Monday in the all-mail election.
More ballots — those received today, Wednesday and Thursday — will be counted Friday.
