PORT TOWNSEND – Someone destroyed a $2,000 window fronting Vintage Hardware, and owner Ken Kelly is offering a $500 reward for the perpetrator’s arrest and conviction.
Police are calling the incident at the 2000 Upper Sims Way business an act of vandalism that occurred late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
The incident involved someone picking up a four-by-four landscape board from a nearby property, then hurling it like a spear through the window, according to police.
The board was found hanging out of the broken window when police arrived on a tip at about 8:35 a.m. Sunday.
