MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST AND graphic artist Nina Jurczynski talks with artist Sara Mall Johani at the Lateral Line Bronze Casting Studio in Chimacum during last weekend’s 2011 Art Port Townsend Studio Tour.
Johani and her husband, Tom Jay, are artists with a combined experience of more than 60 years.
Their Lateral Line studio is a sculpting/teaching facility.
Johani and Jay have more than 30 public sculptures in the region as well as in numerous private collections.
They teach a complete sculpture/bronze casting course — “Sculpture Revealed” — to both beginners and professional artists.
