PORT ANGELES — City crews were working to repair a water main that had broken at West 10th and N streets late this afternoon.
Crews had isolated the break by 4:46 p.m. Water to nearby homes and businesses had been temporary shut off.
“We are working as quickly as possible to fix the break and restore water,” city officials said.
“Please use caution when driving through work zones and observe the posted speed limits.”
The break occurred on a section of West 10th Street that is being rebuilt.
West 10th Street is closed to non-local traffic from N to I streets until the $2.5 million project is completed.
