Heavy rains in the Olympic Mountains — especially on the western and southern faces — swelled rivers early today, but no damage has been reported.
And earlier flood watches and warnings for the North Olympic Peninsula — especially the West End, Elwha River and Hood Canal area of the eastern Peninsula — have been removed by the National Weather Service.
That said, expect rain to continue into the weekend.
