PORT TOWNSEND — Novelist Patrick Jennings will host a free program for book lovers young — or young at heart — at the Port Townsend Library, 1220 Lawrence St., at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is free.
Jennings has just released his 20th book: Guinea Dog 2, a comedy for kids age 8 to 12 or thereabouts.
“I’ll be talking about how I came up with the stories in my books and read a little from some of them, and draw pictures,” Jennings promised.
Writer’s life
He’ll also answer questions about the writer’s life and, most important, he plans to “have a lot of fun.”
Other Jennings books, such as Out Standing in My Field, Faith and the Electric Dogs and Bat and Rat, will be available for autographing and sales.
“Guinea dog biscuits will be served,” he added.
