COYLE — Sabrina & Craig, a folk duo mixing hints of the Beatles, Joni Mitchell and Cole Porter into their music — while imbuing it with their own style — are coming to rural Jefferson County on Saturday night for another in the Concerts in the Woods series.
Admission is by donation to the 7:30 p.m. show, while all ages are welcome at the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center, 923 Hazel Point Road.
Based in Los Angeles, Sabrina & Craig are winners of the 2010 Topanga Banjo-Fiddle-Singing Competition and have been finalists in the Tucson Folk Festival Songwriting Competition.
They’re about to release their second album, “Green,” a follow-up to their debut “One Home . . . One Heart.”
Along with their vocal harmonies, the pair stirs in fingerstyle guitar, bass, percussion and ukulele. To hear some, visit www.sabrinaandcraig.com.
