SEQUIM — The Museum & Arts Center in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley will present a free botanical sketching demonstration with Sequim artist and author Iris Edey from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
It will be free and open to the public — although donations will be appreciated — at the MAC Exhibit Center, 175 W. Cedar St.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Edey also will sign copies of her 2012 book Sketches, which features 180 botanical drawings, and the poetry books Still Shakin’ with Laughter and Lifelines, which she illustrated.
All are available for purchase at the MAC.
Fall demonstrations
Additional free art demos at the MAC Exhibit Center this fall include carving with Jamestown S’Klallam tribal artist Jeff Monson and beading with Florence Adams Monson.
Both demos are being sponsored by the Jamestown S’Klallam tribe and held in conjunction with the Hall-Adams Family Exhibit currently on display at the MAC Exhibit Center.
