Today and tonight refer to Friday, Dec. 6.
SEQUIM — Songs of love, work and travel will fill the Sequim Library tonight as Howly Slim and friends offer a free First Friday Art Walk concert.
Slim, along with guitarist and singer Sandy Summers, fiddler Jon Parry and a bassist known as the Raindance Kid, will lay out their original folk music from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
The performance is part of the Art in the Library series, so there’s also an art show.
Longtime Port Angeles resident Irene Loghry is displaying her oil paintings, which range from a wild Elwha River scene to a study of water lilies.
More on today’s First Friday Art Walk can be found in Peninsula Spotlight magazine, included in this edition of the Peninsula Daily News.
