Bicyclists will ride the scenic Olympic Discovery Trail during the 10th annual Olympic Bike Adventure on Sunday.
Riders pay $50 adult or $25 for those 12 and younger.
Three rides are offered: a 10-mile, a 25-mile and a 60-mile.
The Metric Century at 100 kilometers, or 60 miles, begins at 8 a.m. at Port Angeles City Pier and goes to the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribal Center in Blyn before traveling to the Sequim unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula at 400 W. Fir St. for lunch, ending back at City Pier.
City Pier start
The 25-mile ride begins at 8 a.m. at City Pier and is one-way. A bus will take riders back to Port Angeles after lunch at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.
The 10-mile ride begins at 11 a.m. at Robin Hill Farm Park. Bicyclists will ride to the Sequim Boys & Girls Club and back to the park following a lunch at the club.
Those who don’t want to ride but who want lunch at the Boys & Girls Club in Sequim pay $7.
Food and water stations, SAG — support and gear — support and first-aid assistance will be available at several locations along the trail.
Funds from the Olympic Bike Adventure will go to support Sequim Sunrise Rotary and the Port Angeles Parks and Recreation Department, which produced the event.
