SEQUIM — The Sequim Education Foundation will present its second annual variety show fundraiser showcasing local talent in support of Sequim public schoolchildren at 2 p.m. Saturday.

The 90-minute show of live music and comedy will be at the Sequim High School auditorium, 601 N. Sequim Ave.

Tickets are a $10 donation.

Advance sales tickets are available at the Sequim School District Office, 503 N Sequim Ave., and at Pacific Mist Books, 121 W. Washington St.

Tickets also will be sold at the door.

Return appearance

The foundation’s 2012 Performing Arts Scholarship winner, vocalist Ayla Iliff, will return to Sequim for a special appearance.

A 2012 Sequim High School graduate and member of the school’s Select Choir, Iliff is studying music at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle.

Sequim dentist, comedian and ventriloquist Bud Davies will be master of ceremonies.

1920s theme

The show will reflect the 1920s theme for the month of February for Sequim’s Centennial Celebration.

Performers include the Sequim High School Jazz Band, directed by Vern Fosket; Mahina Lazzaro’s Na Hula O Wahine ‘Ilikea dance troupe; Sequim High School’s Select Choir, directed by John Lorentzen; Naomi Alstrup’s jazz and tap dancing ensembles from Aspire Academy; and the Sequim City Band, under the direction of Tyler Benedict.
