NEAH BAY — The U.S. Coast Guard towed a long-line fishing boat back to port Saturday after it reportedly took on water 10 miles west of Point of Arches.
Crew members aboard the 44½-foot Neah Bay-based Merna Jane were able to bail the water using buckets and were not in immediate danger, Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Robin Olsen said Saturday.
“They were keeping up with it with just their five-gallon buckets,”‘ she said.
