Clallam County commissioners have scheduled a Tuesday meeting to start the incorporation process for Clallam Bay-Sekiu.
The meeting will be the first step toward a public vote on the proposal.
Commissioners also plan to discuss other issues of interest to the Clallam Bay-Sekiu area at the 7 p.m. meeting in the Clallam Bay Schools cafeteria, on state Route 112 in Clallam Bay.
Dick Woodward, a Clallam Bay-Sekiu Chamber of Commerce incorporation committee member, said community support appears sufficient to go ahead with the incorporation process.
