Federal agents said Monday they are still investigating the Dec. 20 slaying of an 18-year-old woman on the Hoh Reservation in west Jefferson County.
Michael W. Koch, age and address unknown, remains in federal custody for allegedly strangling Tawnya LaVonne Tom.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Tessa Gorman said Monday that no new evidence has been made public since Koch was charged with murder by federal prosecutors last week.
She declined to say if any other people are being considered as suspects in the case.
The FBI is investigating, she said.
