FORKS — After a weekend packed with activity people begin winding down Sunday evening to return to work Monday.
Good weather and a variety of events including the Forks-Fly In, the Feast of Forks, a private museum opening, a softball tournament, a car show and hydroplane boat races at Lake Pleasant drew hundreds of people to the small community.
Musical entertainment was also an important part of the weekend with more than 17 performances during the three-day Feast of Forks.
More than 30 food vendors served up elephant ears, Mexican food, hot dogs, fresh-squeezed lemonade and other items to tempt even those on the strictest diet throughout the weekend.
Thousands of people talked with vintage plane pilots during the annual Forks Fly-In Saturday.
