FAIRHOLM — A mother and her son from Seattle were killed when their Jeep overturned Monday night on icy U.S. Highway 101 near the Sol Duc River.
The boy’s stepfather was injured and flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Chari J. Brevik, 27, and Corday U. Johnson, 10, were passengers in a Jeep driven by Brevik’s husband, Bryant D. Fairley, 28, formerly of Diamond Bar, Calif., according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Jeep was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 101 about 30 miles west of Port Angeles shortly before 10:30 p.m. Monday, according to a State Patrol incident report.
