FORKS — The Quillayute Valley School Board approved a $10.15 million budget for the 2003-04 school year during a special meeting Tuesday night.
The district will spend $4.39 million for general instruction, $1.15 million for special education instruction and $619,362 for other instructional programs.
District officials are projecting 1,213.5 full-time equivalent students, a decrease of about 32 students from the 2002-03 school year.
The district receives a state apportionment of about $4,185 for each full-time equivalent student.
