BEAVER — The Lake Pleasant Grocery was burglarized early Wednesday morning and two suspects were booked into the Clallam County jail about 6 p.m. for investigation of the crime.
Brandon L. Fraker and Clayton Folsom, ages unknown, were lodged in the jail for investigation of second-degree burglary and first-degree possession of stolen property.
The burglary occurred during the night, store employee Clel Henson said.
The robbers came in by breaking through a plate glass door.
“A $300 item . . . I just had to have it replaced,” Henson said.
Stolen were several thousand Washington state lottery tickets, about $300, 12 pocket knives and most of the Marlboro and all the Camel cigarettes in stock, Henson said.
He said that no alcohol was taken.
“It appeared they were more interested in cash,” Henson said.
