North Olympic Peninsula residents are expected to get a break from freezing temperatures — but they may have to wear boots in some places due to minor, localized flooding.
Rain and wind top the forecast for at least another week, according to the National Weather Service.
Raindrops are expected to be plain wet raindrops, according to meteorologist Allen Kam with the weather service in Seattle.
