Four of the eight open houses for public comment on the Olympic National Park’s draft general management plan will be held on the North Olympic Peninsula.
* In Forks, there will be two open houses from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 14 at the state Department of Natural Resources office, 411 Tillicum Lane.
* In Sekiu, there will be one open house will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 16 at Sekiu Community Hall, 60 Rice St.
* In Port Angeles, there will be two open houses from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 18 at the Vern Burton Community Center main hall, 308 East Fourth St.
* In Sequim, there will be one open house from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 21 in Guy Cole Hall at Carrie Blake Park, 202 North Blake St.
