PORT ANGELES — Wine and books will be paired at a tasting at Camaraderie Cellars Winery on July 14.
The event, co-hosted by Camaraderie and the North Olympic Library System, will be at 6 p.m. at the winery at 334 Benson Road in Port Angeles. A valid photo ID must be presented upon entry.
The tasting is free, but space is limited. Registration is required.
Parking is limited, and ride-sharing is encouraged.
At each tasting station, participants will sample one of Camaraderie’s artisan Northwest wines and one book.
Each book has been paired with each wine, matched in tone and intensity to red, white and rose wines, organizers say.
The books will range from classics to sci-fi to literary fiction.
Participants will learn about six books and sample six libations throughout the evening.
To register, visit www.nols.org and select “Events” and “Port Angeles,” send an email to discover@nols.org or phone 360-417-8500.
A wait list will be available for those who register after capacity has been reached.
