PORT ANGELES — An 18-year-old woman was hurt when she ran into a tree off the Morse Creek curve west of Port Angeles.
Johanna L. Delliskave of Port Angeles was traveling east on U.S. Highway 101 at about 2:30 p.m. Friday when her car, a 2017 Nissan Altima, left the roadway at milepost 253, veering to the right, and struck a tree.
She was taken to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, where she was treated and discharged.
The cause of the wreck was under investigation.
No drugs or alcohol were involved and she was wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol said.
The car was towed away.
